Vasoline

Just a quick little story. Brodie was supposed to be taking a nap the other day, but apparently he had a different agenda. We could hear him playing in his room but usually he will eventually fall asleep (as he did in this case). Later when Bill went to check on him, since it was about time for him to wake up, he could smell that Brodie had an awful stench coming from his diaper and his hair looked wet. Well...Bill thought he was sick until he got a little closer and noticed that Brodie's hair was more sticky than wet. After looking around the room he discovered that Brodie had pulled his basket of stuff off of his dresser and proceeded to smear all of the petroleum jelly in his hair!!! We're not sure if he ate any so we contacted poison control but they said there was nothing really to do. So, for the last few days we've been working hard to try and get all of the vasoline out of his hair, which is not easy to do. Needless to say all items from the basket were removed from his room.
